Dr. Melissa Schuldt, D.D.S.
Dr. Schuldt was born and raised in Grand Island and has one brother, who is a Chiropractor here in Grand Island. She graduated from Grand Island Senior High and completed her undergraduate studies at UNL where she received a Bachelors of Science with a minor in Psychology.
She attended UNMC- Dental College and graduated in 2011. She moved back to Grand Island and married her husband in 2011. She has two sons, one is 5 and the other is 1.5 years old. She practiced in private practice for 4 years and then in public health for 3 years.
Welcome to Downtown Dental! If you’re brand new to our dental office, then this is the page for you! Below, you’ll find answers to some basic questions such as, “What will my first visit be like?” and “Will you take my insurance?” After looking everything over, if you still have a question for us, feel free to just pick up the phone and ask. We can’t wait to welcome you into our practice and show you all the great things we can do for your smile.
After being greeted by our front desk team and enjoying a complimentary coffee or water, you’ll be escorted to your treatment room. There, a member of our team will begin the appointment by taking a few X-rays and scans of your mouth. You’ll then get to meet your dentist, who will perform a complete oral exam and consult the various images from earlier. Afterward, they’ll go over their observations with you, discuss any additional treatments you might need, and then you’ll have a chance to ask as many questions as you like.
If you have dental insurance, then our team is ready to make it nice and easy for you to save on your dental care. We accept and are in-network providers for many popular PPO plans, and our expert team will help you maximize your benefits at every visit.
